Great location for a quiet stay!

The location was a short walk from Vondelpark and close to a lot of the museums. It was a short walk from the tram stop. Great links to central station and right next door to a supermarket which is a great convenience. The reception area is beautiful and very inviting. Our bed was very comfy and we were left a lovely birthday surprise.

We thought we had booked with breakfast included but when we got to property they told us we had not. When we checked out someone else was having this issue and they were made to pay for their breakfast. We switched hotels because we were interested in breakfast included but were then told it was not booked which was a disappointment. Whilst the room was nice we were on the bottom floor and we could hear noise from other peoples rooms through the air vents. We also had no windows to open. The bathroom was nice but lots of paint chipped off the door and walls and the plug socket in the bathroom was falling off. Luckily we spent nearly no time in our room but to sleep so was not too much of an issue for us.

Book early to get the best price

The hotel is super clean and authentic, you can feel the warmth from the first moment. Location and the staff are very kind.

We asked the front office to extend our stay with same rate we booked our room and it was available when we asked him but after less than 10 minutes the availability changed to be only for a suite with double price and we paid for the suite and they told us that it’s the same category.

Great location and clean, needs better lighting in room

Great location, very central. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating

The rooms are extremely dark - had to ask for extra light but impossible to see wardrobe or entry point. Apparently this is mood lighting but it was extremely impractical even with curtains open

Comfortable!

Really comfortable bed and nice powerful shower.

One member of the group had a small double and said it was particularly small (we knew this when booking though). Could do with a decent sized bin in the room but that’s just being pernickety.

Central hotel, fine for a short stay

Very close to public transport, stylish interior

The air vent in the bathroom was so loud, that I couldn’t sleep. The room was quiet small and at the end of the hotel, the „view“ was basically into the hotel which felt weird.

The bed was extra comfy and the style of the hotel was very beautiful

Depends on price may be excellent choise to stay in Amsterdam

Free upgrade to more big room. Hotel looks like new. Very good location, quiet, but close to center by foot. Close to bus and tram stop. Excellent breakfast with various hot meal.

It was very rainy, there is no place to dry clothes, because there are no warm radiators in room.

A little piece of Heaven.

We arrived extremely early at around 10 AM, our check in wasn't until 3. We were greeted by a lovely staff member called Seb, when we asked if we could leave our bags and go explore the city until check in, he quickly suggested we could be moved to the sister hotel (Hotel JL NO76) where there was a room ready for check-in and included a Jacuzzi. We were shocked at the offer and quickly jumped to the opportunity. We did not have to pay anything extra even though the Jacuzzi room was an upgrade, Seb even organised a free taxi to the sister hotel which was only 2 blocks down. We were extremely impressed and immediately felt welcome and happy with our Hotel Choice. Customer Service at both hotels were second to none!! Location was fantastic, a brisk 20 minute walk into the hub of the city and a stones throw away from the Museums. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely be back!

Honestly we can't think of any negatives. The only thing i would have changed was a double bed in place of the pushed together twin beds. We were offered to wait until a double bed room was available but we were desperate to get checked in and venture out into Amsterdam. But besides that it's a 10 out of 10.

Loved it, would come back again.

The staff were lovely and the beds were super comfortable! Good location too, just outside of the centre but still in walking distance.

The lighting was quite dim in the room and if you'd like to get breakfast when you're there you have to pay by card, which was a bit of a shame.

It’s good

I liked the bed and the shower. It was one of my Tops.

It’s pretty loud in there. We heard everything our neighbors said. And their steps above. And the street outside. Maybe it’s not a big deal, but for us it was hard to get asleep.

Would recommend. Great location, clean hotel, friendly staff and a good stay!

Staff very friendly and helpful and more than happy to store our bags when we arrived before we could check in. Style and decor was lovely and the hotel was very clean. Location was great we walked everywhere and didn't use buses or trams except for the airport transfer.

Walls are quite thin would have been a better night's sleep for a bit of sound proofing. We opted for breakfast which we were both disappointed with, quite expensive for what it was with limited dairy free/vegetarian choice and the cooked food was rather greasy.
