Good but just not as good as we were expecting...

Excellent central location, friendly and helpful staff. Great shower!

There was a big dip in our bed on the one side which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise from both inside (we were woken by hoovering upstairs and lots of bumping around) and outside (the hotel is on a main road).

Very Good

Good information system. Walking distance to the museums and concert hall. Beautiful city and brilliant local transport. Great local Asian restaurants in the same street (especially the Thai).

Small, expensive room but this is common to all hotels there. TV didn’t work throughout my week’s stay.

Comfortable!

Really comfortable bed and nice powerful shower.

One member of the group had a small double and said it was particularly small (we knew this when booking though). Could do with a decent sized bin in the room but that’s just being pernickety.

There are some downsides, but I still like that hotel

+ awesome location + beautiful interior design + comfortable bed + great A/C system + big grocery shop right after the hotel building

- rather a small room - there wasn't a bin in the room (only in the bathroom) — not sure what is the reason - there was a problem with the mattress on one of the sides (room 309) - as far as I'm concerned, it was impossible to get our room via lifts. You have to use the stairs. - quite an expensive hotel, but I'm not sure there are much better good-for-value options in Amsterdam

Perfect location for the museum square

Perfect location for the Rijks Museum and the Canal boat tours. Lots of local restaurants. Staff was so helpful from the moment we walked in till we left . Loved the honesty bar . I will definitely return to this Hotel.

The stairs were a little scary .

Book early to get the best price

The hotel is super clean and authentic, you can feel the warmth from the first moment. Location and the staff are very kind.

We asked the front office to extend our stay with same rate we booked our room and it was available when we asked him but after less than 10 minutes the availability changed to be only for a suite with double price and we paid for the suite and they told us that it’s the same category.

Central hotel, fine for a short stay

Very close to public transport, stylish interior

The air vent in the bathroom was so loud, that I couldn’t sleep. The room was quiet small and at the end of the hotel, the „view“ was basically into the hotel which felt weird.

A really enjoyable stay, an excellent location and a quirky and very well-run hotel.

Excellent location, very well managed, pleasant and very capable staff and wonderful breakfasts. We also enjoyed the great access to the Museum Quarter as well as the access to less tourist-oriented areas for eating, drinking, washing clothes and seeing a different side of the city. Also, for those interested in a lovely walk or a really pleasant run, Vondelpark is two or three minutes away and well worth a visit.

Two pillows for each guest would have been good. Also, better instructions on how to reach the hotel. Even the local taxi driver got a bit confused so a better map on booking.com would have been helpful.

Wonderful

Location was great, close to restraints, park and museum. Also close to boat tour and canal. Great tram links further into the city. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and most of so it was quiet so able to get a really good nights sleep.

This working stop me returning but there was minimal shelving/storage space within the room

Modern hotel easily located in a beautiful part of the city. Would definitely stay there again.

Very modern, clean, friendly staff with a well equipped room.

As I was at the front of the property it was quite noisy overnight due to trams, ambulances and people shouting. Next time, I will request a room towards the back of the hotel.

Good stay

Hotel is located at 20 minutes walking distance from the center, public transportation facilities were very near to hotel. Room was clean and neat.

It was bit expensive for 1 night stay and the room was bit small but it was ok for short stay.

Great location for a quiet stay!

The location was a short walk from Vondelpark and close to a lot of the museums. It was a short walk from the tram stop. Great links to central station and right next door to a supermarket which is a great convenience. The reception area is beautiful and very inviting. Our bed was very comfy and we were left a lovely birthday surprise.

We thought we had booked with breakfast included but when we got to property they told us we had not. When we checked out someone else was having this issue and they were made to pay for their breakfast. We switched hotels because we were interested in breakfast included but were then told it was not booked which was a disappointment. Whilst the room was nice we were on the bottom floor and we could hear noise from other peoples rooms through the air vents. We also had no windows to open. The bathroom was nice but lots of paint chipped off the door and walls and the plug socket in the bathroom was falling off. Luckily we spent nearly no time in our room but to sleep so was not too much of an issue for us.

Great location and clean, needs better lighting in room

Great location, very central. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating

The rooms are extremely dark - had to ask for extra light but impossible to see wardrobe or entry point. Apparently this is mood lighting but it was extremely impractical even with curtains open
